Terry 'TJ' Egan

Executive Director

Terry joined the CMC Foundation as the Executive Director in June of 2016. He hails from Rockford, Illinois and is an seasoned, professional fundraiser. His successful career includes conducting capital campaigns and generating revenue from community endeavors. He is known for his engaging leadership style and is a Certified Fundraising Executive. He was the recipient of the Citizen of the Year Award from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. His professional strengths include team building, public relations and strategic planning. He is also an accomplushed swimmer and swim coach having competed in many open water swims. And, he has admitted that he does like the game of golf and plays as best as he can whenever possible.

Susan Scarce

Development Officer

Susan joined the CMC Foundation in October of 2016. Originally from Northern Virginia, Susan moved to Myrtle Beach when she was young. She graduated in 2005 from Carolina Forest High School. She then attended Gardner-Webb University on a golf scholarship, and ultimatly graduated from Coastal Carolina University in December of 2009 with a major in Communication, and a minor in Business Administraion.  Susan serves on the Coastal Carolina University Athletic Foundations Board of Directors. She currently resides in Myrtle Beach with her husband Alex, and their son Reece.

Stephanie Malm

Administrative Assistant

Stephanie joined the Foundation in November of 2017.  Born and raised in the great state of New York, Stephanie relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2007.  She graduated from SUNY Albany where she doubled majored in Communications and Sociology to earn a Bachelor’s Degree.  Stephanie also has an Associate’s Degree in Business Marketing.  Her background is extensively in politics, where she was a Press Secretary for a NYS Senator and later served as Communications Director to all Assembly Minority Members.  Upon moving to Myrtle Beach she left politics behind and joined her husband in the service industry where they are owners and operators of Broadway Louie’s at Broadway at the Beach.  Stephanie quickly took up golf to be able to better communicate with the locals.  She lives in Myrtle Beach with her husband Greg and their son Jameson.
