2024 THIRD ANNUAL CMC TENNIS CLASSIC

The Conway Medical Center Tennis Classic is a premier 1-day event held at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC.

FORMAT

Men’s and Women’s Doubles. Round robin format will be determined by number of entries. Teams will be guaranteed two matches. Limited to 56 players.

ENTRY FEE

$300 per team ($150 per player).
Tennis Pro will attempt to pair individual players.

DIVISIONS

Ladies Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5/Open
Men’s Doubles: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5/Open
*Divisions may be combined if there are limited entries

SCORING

All matches will play two out of three short sets to 4.
Tiebreaker at 4-4. A 7-point tiebreaker will be
played in lieu of the 3rd set. No ADD scoring.

Championing Cancer Care

100% of the proceeds from the classic go to support the Foundation’s Cancer Care initiatives. Our efforts provide life saving cancer screenings to the under-served in our community while also assisting those in the midst of their cancer battles.

In the event of bad weather or a rain out – all donations will be considered a gift! Each participant will still receive a welcome bag & gift! The ability to play will be determined by the Dunes Club tennis professional staff.

Agreement

SPONSOR agrees to purchase from the Conway Medical Center Tennis Classic the Sponsor Package(s) specified on this website and referred to in the Sponsor Sales Brochure. The Sponsor Agreement requires that the balance of the Sponsor Package be paid on or before April 8th.

SPONSOR shall be entitled to all tickets, gifts and privileges specified as part of the Sponsor Package(s) described herein which represents the complete agreement between the SPONSOR and TOURNAMENT. Any additions, changes or modifications to this agreement must be made in writing by both parties.

SPONSOR also expressly recognizes the TOURNAMENT is subject to being shortened or cancelled due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond Conway Medical Center Tennis Classic’s reasonable control; acts of God, accident, riots, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil disturbance, breakdown of communication facilities, natural catastrophes, inclement weather conditions, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, strikes, fire, or flood. Should this occur, the special events will be held to the extent safe and feasible and all participants shall receive their gift packages. SPONSOR is not entitled to any refunds or return of money in such an event.

Finally, the SPONSOR agrees that the person(s) who use SPONSOR’S tickets and/or other privileges contained in the Sponsor Package(s) described herein assume risk of 1) suffering personal injury or property damage resulting from being struck by a tennis ball, tennis racket, or because of other hazards or acts of nature reasonably associated with the attendance at a tennis tournament, and 2) contracting illness due to attendance at a gathering or event during an epidemic or pandemic. SPONSOR further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Conway Medical Center Tennis Classic, Conway Medical Center, Conway Medical Center Foundation, The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, tournament sponsors, participating players, and all agents thereof for any claims or lawsuits brought against such persons and/or entities and their employees and agents for such personal injury or property damage.
