Scholarship Endowments
CMC Foundation has six endowments established to provide scholarships for CMC employees or prospective employees to further their education in nursing.
The Conway Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Endowment – The Conway Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship Endowment was established in 2001. Funds from this endowment will be used to assist a prospective Conway Medical Center employee to obtain the education and training necessary for a nursing degree.
The Margaret Elizabeth “Bessie” Creel Endowment – The “Bessie” Creel Endowment was established in 2000 in memory of Margaret Elizabeth “Bessie” Creel. Proceeds from this endowment have been designated to fund nursing scholarships for prospective CMC employees.
The Lillian Fowler Endowment – The Lillian Fowler Endowment was established in 1999 by Mrs. Lillian H. Fowler. Proceeds from this endowment have been designated to fund nursing scholarships.
The Bonnie Hughes Endowment – Mr. Steve Hughes established the Bonnie Hughes Endowment in honor of his wife Bonnie, in 2001. Proceeds from this endowment have been designated to fund nursing scholarships.
The Gail H. Moss Endowment – Established by Mr. Jay D. Moss to honor his wife Gail, this endowment will assist in providing scholarships for Conway Medical Center employees who wish to further their education in nursing.
The Ray/Watson Endowment – Charley and Dianne Ray established the Ray/Watson Endowment in 2001 in honor of Hubert C. Watson and his wife, the late Mildred. L. Thompson Watson. Proceeds from this endowment provide funding for nursing scholarships.
